Meta Captions
Optionally choose an image meta tag for image thumbnail captions, even a different meta tag for lightbox captions as well. For example, image Titles you add in Lightroom can be used for thumbnails, and image Captions you add in Lightroom can be used for the lightbox.
Meta Data Popup
Optionally show an info button next to lightbox image captions to reveal meta data. Clicking the info icon will show a list of data points in a nice popup. Popular EXIF, Lightroom, and Apple Photos data will be shown. EXIF GPS data even generates a google map link ?

Very cool that you added the GPS mapping ability! But it doesn’t look like the meta tagging works when you don’t use batch. For folks with self-hosted images, we need to use the stack/hosted method, but when I try that I don’t see the meta info. Since you have it all working for batch, could you please turn it on for this method too? oh, and thanks for telling us about the MetaImage app – looks great.
Hi Nick, I hope you are well. Just want to let you know that composite characters (such as in: Île Frégate) in the caption do not display correctly in the lightbox (caption line and meta data popup) when read from the files using Batch Hosted and the IPTC “Caption” (Description) setting. Such composite characters display properly in captions in the gallery page and in the group title in both the gallery page and in the lightbox. Also, those characters display properly everywhere if using stacks images (that is, not using Batch).
Thanks for letting me know Dave, I’ve now made note about this issue, and look for a fix with the next Photo Pro stack update.
