This theme is a responsive design, which basically means the layout will fluidly change to accommodate all screen sizes big and small. Here's an example of responsive design. Responsive is the future of the web, and can be challenging at first for site creation - but if you have the Stacks plug-in, Joe Workman has some excellent responsive stacks making site setup a breeze.
